Follow me here: a Danish brewer releases a beer for the Brazilian market under a German style with a former American president heading the label with a summary of the beer in English. That's a lot of different nationalities used in a single beer, and they call combine in the clever name of this berliner weisse. From a stubby 300 ml bottle (thanks Ciro!), on to the beer:
A pale, light yellow colored beer shines in the glass. There is little head retention on top. Nothing crazy with the aroma but a simple slightly tart lemon mixed with lactic acid. The taste also follow suit, with a light lemon and slightly tart flavor. What makes Evil Twin's version unique is its body. It is indeed very light bodied, but the carbonation is incredibly bubbly yet delicate, like a champagne. That puts this berliner weisse as a slightly more interesting option per style, as well as an excellent choice for the many warm days in the country it's marketed in.
