A quite pricey (not-that-all-too-commercial) Japanese craft. They tell you on the can that they used an “unbelievable amount” of hops for this, as if somewhat trying to justify the high price point to the general public. For those who are familiar with NEIPAs, this is unnecessary.
Okay, the beer looks good, has a nice aroma, tastes also quite alright, but I didn’t get that zest, that citrus feel on your palate at the back end, something that is so common with NEIPAs. It was good, but it could have been better.
I think maybe the problem is with me, having had my fair share of the good stuff. Now that I know such great beers exist, this one for example just would not be enough to rock my world. Will definitely K.O. your average Joe (or for that matter, your average Taro) here.
