Very malty ale, darker golden, bordering on amber, with fast disappearing head. Aroma is malt, honey and butterscotch. Taste is mostly malt and a hint of cider. Mouthfeel is slick, and palate is smooth and mildly sweet.

Got this one while in Normandy last summer.
From a 75cl cork and caged bottle into a snifter
Best Before 20 September 2014
APPEARANCE: Pours a two finger, medium looking, fluffy white head with good retention. Fades slowly to a full wisp leaving sheets of lacing down the glass. Clear gamboge orange with lower levels of carbonation evident. Fades to a splotchy wisp leaving lots of lacing down the glass.
SMELL: Caramel and biscuit notes on the nose, with light floral hops as well. A little mild, but balanced.
TASTE: Caramel and biscuit sweetness up front, with some spicy yeast and alcohol notes at the swallow. Medium but lingering finish of spicy clove, some bitter floral hops, a touch of sweet caramel and white bread, with a bit of alcohol under it all. Not quite as forthcoming as hoped with less sweetness than desired perhaps.
PALATE: Medium body and medium carbonation. Semi-creamy on the palate, a touch lighter perhaps, but goes down fine and finishes dry.
OVERALL: This is okay, but nothing worth writing home about. Somewhat less interesting than their Bier Blonde Cuivree that I'd had right before it. The bitterness is nice, though some more sweetness would have been appreciated, and perhaps some more forthcoming flavor overall. A decent beer, but their other offering was better.

750ml bottle served in a Leffe chalice.
A: Pours a yellow to orange golden clear color forming a big fluffy aired white head. Medium retention and some lacings formed
S: Sweet. Sweet malts, honey, spices, bread and yeasts

M: Medium and bit molasses body. Sweet upfront and moderate bitterness in the end. Medium carbonation
O: Very grainy beer. Good drinkability. Not bad

Mouth quite alcoholic, quite consistent with a touch of malt and grain (rice, wheat and others) but far from great. The nose smells full alcohol , with a touch of white wine bvery similar of the liquid anti-freeze fort cars. Finish where alcohol again points back the tip of his nose and it's accompagned by a bitterness on the edge of disgusting. In conclusion, this beer is just horrible in the mouth.

This is a superb beer. Appearance wise it is border line ordinary, with a decent amount of off white head, which sticks nicely to the glass. Head dissipation is kind of quick, but a fine lace remains all the way through. The body is nearly crystal clear, and is light copper in color.
Aromas are easily detected. Mostly they are fruity and sweet, such as grape and honey.
The taste is shared with the grape and honey aroma fragrance character, but there's a slight pear taste to this brew. There is also a kind of white wine like characteristic here too.
Even with the moderate amount of alcohol this is still quite refreshing. There is a slight alcoholic warming effect, but isn't really noticeable until the beer warms a bit.
Overall I'm very impressed with this beer, and a strong recommendation for this one, from me.
