This beer was overpriced. Decent but nobody wants a 15$ bomber of a 4.2% session IPA. Having said that, no disrespect to GVB. I love what they do. I would've preferred to get it on tap- but from what I know they only had kegs of it for their brewery taproom.

Pours golden, one finger head with lots of carbonation. Smells like pine and earthy malts. Taste is very herbal and earthy. Decent hop flavor and a bread-like finish. Not much citrus. Thin mouth-feel. Easy to drink, which is what you want in a Session. Pretty good and flavorful session.

22oz bottle, poured into a snifter glass

A- pours a pale and clear golden-straw color with a two-finger creamy white head that retains nicely, leaving some sticky lace behind

S- big toasted malt aroma with some grainy notes, underlying citrus fruity hops with notes of grapefruit, passionfruit, mango and a hint of fresh grass

T- lightly sweet with a big toasted malt presence up front with flavors of bread crust and grains. The hops actually kick in near the finish, with lots of tropical fruity notes of mango, pineapple, & grapefruit that linger long after the finish

M- medium-light body with moderate carbonation leads to a slightly foamy mouthfeel that continues into a crisp finish

O- The hops don't show up until the finish, which is welcomed in a session IPA. At $7.99 a bottle, it's a bit steep for the style, but it's certainly one of the better session IPA's that I've had in a while
