Sampled on tap at Popeye in Tokyo.
This brown ale poured a dark brown (almost opaque) color with thin, tan foam that coated the glass. The smell was a faint caramel malt aroma. The taste was slightly sweet and malty with a bit of an earthy, oaky taste. However, this ale was a bit thin on flavor. The mouthfeel was smooth,dry, and clean with medium-light body and low carbonation. The body and flavor were both on the thin side. This ale was ok to drink, and was easy to drink, but would be improved with a little more flavor.
