This version was called Weizen. With the same abv, I believe it's simply a name change for the same beer.

Bright white head that settles to film. Plentiful spots on the glass initially, nothing after the second sip. Very clear bright gold color.

Good wheat presence with a hint of banana.

Appropriate body and carbonation. The wheat is in forefront with the banana providing a subtle “spice”. Mild finish with a slight souring. Brief aftertaste.

Had on tap at Popeye in Tokyo.

This is probably one of the best beers I've had from an Asian brewery.

Appearance is just right for the style. Hazy pale straw, slightly milky, with a sticky white head.

Nose is fantastic. Banana, fruity bubblegum, sweet malts. Yeast. Nice.

Taste is great. Very wheaty, more wheat and yeast. Bubblegum.

Solid mouthfeel and drinkability. Overall a very good weizen; quite impressive.

I'm really impressed with this beer, and its almost an exact clone of the highly-regarded Denison's weissbier that can only be found in Toronto. Classic hazy hefe body with a huge white head of bubbles. Banana and exotic fruits in the aroma, perhaps also some peach. Full on banana flavour, with just enough wheat character to cut it. A bit of citrus, kiwi and lychee to boot. Medium-light body and medium carbonation. I would like to try this side with my more familiar brew, but I think its just as good.

Opaque opaque beer with thin head an yeast so thick you can cut it with a spoon.

Ripe banana, creamy tropical fruit aroma.

Fresh banana, tangerine, no bitterness. Lovely flavor, bold yet refreshing. If I ever had a beer that tasted like a pina colada (that was not at all sweet) this would be it.

The re is a tad too much acidity for me. This is great. To be had again.
