Moderate head that does leave a few steaks. Light gold color. Clear.
Strong malt nose. It smells like a Red/Amber. Very little hop.
Neutral in nearly every sense of the word: body, carbonation, malt, hop. Easy to drink but there’s nothing unusual about the beer. I would predict it would fall in the middle of the pack for any competition.

Can picked up in Takayama.
Cloudy gold pour with a white head and some decent lacing. Aroma of lemon, caramel, cereal and biscuit. Flavour is predominantly a mix of biscuit and caramel, with a light creaminess for the cereal notes backing it up. Herbal, lemony hops provide a light bitterness. The aftertaste is short and light. Medium-light body and medium carbonation.
This is a decent, but unspectacular beer from a brewery taht can do better. For an english pale ale, though, it strikes me as pretty true to style.
