Pours a dark amber with soapy tan head.
Smell is malty, bready and a bit sweet. Notes of brown bread, Seville oranges, leather and citrus peel.
Taste is malty and bready with a moderate bitterness. Notes of brown bread, leather, tobacco and citrus.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a very good golden ale. My bottle was probably a bit old, as it felt a bit stale.
