Taster at brewery. Pale straw color, this patchy head. Aroma is cucumber and honeydew. Those flavors get stronger in the taste. A bit dry, but honeydew and cucumber seem to work in harmony.

Cucumber taste in beer does just not work. Slightly sour I had it on Tap at Bridger brewing. It’s not retired. I wish it was

not sure if there was a special edition, or if there is always cucumber and melon in this cream ale. i liked it way more than i thought i would, cucumber works so rarely in beer for how often it is tried, and here its just fantastic, botanical and refreshing and a smooth round fluffy bubbly cream ale, almost lager properties to it, really pretty great. its cooling and summery and vibrant but not overdone. the melon i suppose adds a little sweetness here, but you taste it far less than the cucumber for sure. i cant imagine this being too interesting without these elements, a well made beer sure, but largely unremarkable in the absence of the cucumber and melon i suspect. i could see this being great as a beer back to a bloody mary, and even as a hangover elixir on its own, but its also pretty doable as a pint, just maybe not five pints. i was rather impressed with all the beer here at bridger, very inventive and well done for the most part. doesnt seem like the cucumber would work in here, but its real authentic and perfectly proportioned and it makes for a tasty and unique beer overall.

Served on pint a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a golden color with a one finger head of fizzy white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving a bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the beer is strongest of a bready and slightly grainy smell with a little bit of an earthy and herbal hop. Some light aromas of caramel and a little bit of grass are there as well, rounding out the smell nicely.
Taste – The taste begins with a slightly grainy and bready taste but contains a slightly creamy taste as well. The graininess fades a bit while the creaminess gets slightly stronger. All the while however, some hay and grass as well as a bit of an earthy and herbal hop come to the tongue, leaving one with a somewhat sweet, but slightly grassy and grainy taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the average side with a carbonation level that is rather average. A rather good medium for the mix of cream, grainy bread, and light hop.
Overall – A nice crisp and flavorful cream ale. Rather well done I must say.
