Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance β The beer is served a light golden orange color with a one finger head of white foam. The head fades relatively quickly, leaving just a trace of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell βThe aroma of the brew is strongest of a cracker and pine smell mixed with a little bit of an herbal hop aroma. There is also a light citrus smell which rounds out the smell rather nicely.
Taste-The taste begins with a slightly more crisp and crackery taste that takes on a little bit of a doughy taste as the taste advances. Along with these flavors are some hop tastes of a citrus nature upfront and a light orange citrus flavor, with both of these fading as the taste advances. While the citrus fades, flavors of pine and herb come to the tongue all while the cracker turns more bready. In the end with the flavor transitions that occur, one is left with a moderately crisp and easy drinking modestly dank hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel β The body of the brew is on the thinner side with a carbonation level that is rather high. For the session style and moderate hop tastes the feel is rather nice and creates an easy sipping brew overall.
Overall β A rather flavorful and approachable brew at 5 % abv., with a decent showing of hop to make it all exciting.
