Served on tap in a mug
Appearance – The beer is served a hazy orange-yellow color with a big fluffy head of white foam. The head fades over a moderate amount of time, leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is big of a tropical fruit and citrus smell with lots of tangerine, mango, and papaya. Along with these comes notes of grapefruit and a bit of bready and biscuit malt.
Taste – The taste begins big citrus of tangerine and orange mixed with some light tropical fruit notes. The hop is predominantly grapefruit in nature, but does have some light pine and earthy notes as well. As the taste advances more fruit and biscuit and bready malt come to the tongue, and with a touch of lemon and hay, one is left with a moderately juicy and easy natured taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the thick and heavy for the abv with a lower level of fine carbonation.
Overall – A decent hazy IPA. Nothing too special, but good none the less.
