They almost seemed upset with me that I came alone for just drinks. Their beer was as expected. Nothing too special, but it was local. The view was beyond breath taking. Looking out over San Marino and Italy to the sea is worth the hike up to the top. The food is mediocre, but it is nice after a little hike

We found this place high up in the capital city of San Marino, perched right on the city walls overlooking the sheer cliff, with a view over surrounding Italy all the way to the Adriatic sea. It was by far the primary beer place we saw in the city, with its own pilsner brewed for it by the local Sammarinese brewery, and it had the latter's Titanbrau beers plus a selection of Italian, Belgian, British, and German beers in bottles, with a few beers on tap. That said, the overall range, especially of beers on tap, was fairly limited, but it was very good nonetheless and a clear standout for the area.
The local beers were very good. The food was excellent, primarily pizzas and the local piadine sandwiches. The place was wonderful seating right on the walls with outstanding views and a pleasant atmosphere. They provide blankets o keep warm and the people are very friendly and eager to serve. Given that San Marino is a tiny state, this seems to be the top beer place in the whole republic and it was very welcome find.
