Pours a deep brown black with a minimal head. There are some spotty islands present upon break but little in the way of lacing. The smell is roasts malts, caramel malts and some treacle. The taste is similar to the nose, but the roasts are balanced with a slight sweetness that comes in on the end. The feel is thinnish with medium carbonation and a clean finish.
Well, hats off to Dominion City for making this beer. It's a good example of the style and it goes down easy.
