Pours a light and see through purple, with a small head. The head breaks quickly, but there is a nice island of foam left behind. The smell is a combination of classic gose, a little like the seaside and then grape jelly, a little like the sammiches we enjoyed as kids. The flavor is most like a gose, light salt/brine, tart, herbs and then you get the Concord grape, which is sweet but not overly so. The feel is lighter with medium carbonation. The finish is a fight between the classic gose tart and the sweet grapes.
An enjoyable beer and a perfect summer beer. I could easily see a few these disappearing on a summer day on the patio.
