Can: Poured a slight hazy blonde color ale with a medium size white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of tart notes with some light acidic notes and some nice floral dry hops notes. Taste is more dominated by tart kettle sour notes with light lactic acid notes with then the hoppy floral undertones. Body is full for style with good carbonation. Enjoyable but hoppy notes could have been more pronounced.

Lightning Field Dry-hopped Kettle Sour.
Pours a hazy gold with only about a finger of head, which broke quickly leaving a small cap and collar which also dissipated quickly.
Smell is tropical and citrus rich. I definitely get the papaya and pink grapefruit they advertise, and I think I get yuzu, but I'm not really sure of that aroma. It is just really nice.
Taste is tart with the pink grapefruit and what I assume is the yuzu more present than the papaya which is secondary.
Feel is lightish with good carbonation. Tartness gives a pucker and then a slight hop finish with a touch of pith.
I like what DC is doing. I quite enjoyed this sour and think I'll get more. I'm surprised this has been released in the middle of winter, as I think it would be a fantastic summer beer. Bravo.
