This beer pours very pale, with a small retaining head.
It is after this that I have a difficult time describing things, because, though it tastes nice enough, both the nose, as well as the flavour is of lard. There are some hoppy notes, but mostly it's lard. So if you don't like lard, you won't like this. Collective Arts and some of Great Lakes have a similar lardy hint, but not to this extent. And I don't think it's the hops that create this.
Anyway, nice enough, but not as good as I hoped for.
