Met some friends here for a few beers after work. It is conveniently located right off of South Tryon, and has ample parking.

There is a large open seating area with high ceilings and a bar area. The brewing area is visible through a window. This is a nice space.

We did not order food on this visit.

They had quite a few beers and kombucha on tap, I had the Raspberry Mustache, and the Creature of Habit Helles. Both beers were good. The other guys had the Czech Pilsner and the Farmhouse Ale, both enjoyed their beers were good as well.

The bartender was attentive and friendly

Overall, I really enjoyed this place and look forward to trying it again soon

Yet another enjoyable brewery to visit in Charlotte....comfortable, high ceilinged main room, with chill music and cool art on display..large bar to the left as you enter....quality brew served by friendly and knowledgeable staff....kombucha tea is a big thing in this place...not my thing, but others seems to be enjoying it.....quality place, that was fun to visit.

Made a trip to Charlotte and we stopped in this brewery because of the unique selection of beer, kombucha and sour ales. The brewery had lots of seating and a great staff to help navigate through the beer.

Nestled in an industrial strip mall of sorts, this place is worth seeking out. This is as unique a beer as you will find in the Charlotte area. They make beer and kombucha, and they blend the two at times, as well. Small, modest area of a tap room, with a view into the brewing area from the bar. The bar itself is made from 2x4s and plywood, with exposed screws and all. Some refurbished stuffed chairs in one corner behind the bar, and some tables and chairs opposite the bar. It actually has a really cool, very rustic vibe. Felt right at home as soon as I walked in. The bartender was pretty knowledgeable, and anything she didn't know she asked the brewer, who was sitting at the opposite end of the bar drinking, it just so happens. Seriously, check this place out. It's great.

Great service--especially educating me on Kambucha! Unfortunately, the beer did not live up to the hype. Went there early on a Thursday and pretty much empty, so can't comment on the vibe. Love the concept of wild ales-- these guys need to keep working to build that out.

Very small taproom with a weird vibe. I like to meet friends at breweries for a few pints and this place is more of a beer to go place for my style.

As for the beer- I was very impressed with the wild ales and the sour beers.

Stop #450 on my world brewery tour.

Very unique experience on my tour of happening Charlotte breweries. With all respect, the tap room has a soap opera bar feel to it. Glass walls looking into one room for Kombucha fermentations and the other looking into a 7 barrel brewhouse.

Myself and one other couple during a visit around 6:30 on a Wednesday. Mellow and laid back with good conversation with the bartender. All organic beers and a variety of Kombucha on tap (rose, strawberry, ginger, beet). I had a flight with IPA, Seasonal Brown, Kombucha with low ABV, and a Trippel. All beers well done.

Really catching on to Kombucha so I enjoyed this visit. Something different among the upstart brewpubs around Charlotte.

Lenny Boy is a new brewery opened up in a nearly empty industrial plaza. A little tough to find to be perfectly honest. Stepping inside is nothing like what I expected from looking at the exterior. It's white, cozy, and with a very coastal feel. The brewery is located behind a glass partition, a small 5-7 seat bar serves the whole space. A few tables lay around along with games. Very comfortable all around.

Lenny Boy brews beer, wild ales (open fermentation), and kombucha. This is a pretty neat combination if you ask me. Behind the bar held maybe, 8 taps. Some kombucha, some wilds, and some beer. The wilds and kombucha all had very unique ingredients.I sampled Kentucky Creeper while visiting; a barrel aged wild with watermelon, elderberries, muscadine grapes, and hibiscus which was tasty and very refreshing. Prices were good and the service friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to visit Lenny Boy again. It's very laid back and relaxing with interesting offerings.
