Can from Brewers Haven. Poured into a Kostritzer glass, hoping it would have a positive efect. No such luck. Dark brown pour, instant foamy head, which subsides to skin. Roast grain aroma, hints of coffee. Taste is more of the roast grains, but comes off thin. Hint of bitterness, mostly absent of flavor.

Appeared with a medium head, super dark brown
Aroma is of a corny stout smell, a bit of coffee
Taste is charred but very light and drinkable, again some coffee detectable.
Super drinkable, I'd recommend it.

Bought this beer because of a few reasons,it’s a black lager, and the packaging along with its name which is great. What was greatly disappointing was the taste and the alcohol percentage. The beer has the looks of a delicious dark beer but in flavor and smell it’s a light beer in disguise. Both me and my close friend are enthusiast of dark and brown beers. We both had the same experience with this beer. It has the roasted undertones in the initial taste as it hits your tongue but shortly after it doesn’t taste that far from something cheap and clear. Not only does this disappoint me in terms of taste but it’s also low enough in alcohol percentages it’s almost water.
