A brightly fruity wit, a cool take on the style. A little darker and denser looking than others, but with its characteristic fizzy white head as lively as can be. A floral nose, intense yeast going on here, active but pungent too, and it fits with the other fruitiness in the beer. For me it's mango and lime, not so much in the nose, but the flavor starts with a great tropical fruit sweetness, and moves into a cleaner zestier citrus line type thing as the yeast finishes it up. Cool twist instead of the orange and coriander usually so prominent in the style. Those might still be here, but there's a lot more than that going on, and I appreciate the complexity. Mouthfeel rocks, effervescent carbonation and a fast finish for the style. A bit more body than the norm, but it works, especially in a winter context. If you like an expressive yeast, give this one a try!
