L:. Pours a pale cloudy lemony yellow with a foamy medium head and no lacing on the glass.
S:. Ginger candy is very forefront, a bit of malt and sweetness but the ginger takes over here.
T:. Ginger and ginger candy, a note of malt and very little hop, ginger is very strong.
F: prickly carbonation, light to medium body.
O:. This is an ok beer wish there was less ginger.

Enjoyed as part of a four-beer flight at the Broken Compass Brewery in Breckenridge.
The base beer is a solid pale ale, like some of the brewery's other more experimental offerings. This may be one of the best melds of ginger and beer I've had. The ginger is right in your face, yet still doesn't stop the base brew's quality from shining through. Ginger-flavored beers can be sweet or overpowering, this one is not. The ginger is a spicy note, not a sweet one, and balances the hops that are definitely present. The finish is crisp and clean. A nice experimental brew.

This might be the best ginger beer I've had. Super clean and just enough ginger to not overpower the palate.
