Barrel Fermented Irish Red

This is the same base beer as the Irish Red on nitro that I reviewed, though I think I preferred that one just a bit more. I wish I knew, or had thought to ask, what the barrel was that was used to age this. Without knowing that, I can't tell if they got what they were going for here. I'd guess bourbon barrel? If others have this and find out how they aged it, I'd be curious to know.
