i believe this is a kettle sour not a wild ale as its listed, but its real nice beer, blackberries and blueberries in a very colorful sour, not too acidic to drink, but piquant for sure, fairly clean on the souring, bright and lactic with puckery lemon tang to it, but not sharp on the teeth and tongue, and not disruptive in the belly, some sweetness from the berries certainly balancing that out, but they fruit is real to me and brings tang and tannins also, this is juicy and flavorful, quite well done. it sure it pretty to look at too, flamingo pink with high saturation and brightness, and more head than a lot of sours like this have, weightless and wispy from the can. the nose is a little more subtle than the taste but equally appealing, tangy fruit with equal parts blackberry and blueberry to me, maybe a wheat malt base, more fruit than grain by a mile though, although still beery enough, mildly sweet and floral. the flavor is jammy with the blackberry up front, ripe and real, and the blueberry coming more prominently in the second half, subtle red wine acidity and fruitiness together, fresh lemon, increasingly sour as it warms, lighter medium body here but enough structure for sure, fizzy carbonation has it popping like a soda. really nice fruit intensity, the best parts of both berries on full display, mouthwatering without being an acid bomb, almost umbrella drink status here, summery and fun and pretty clean, nice!

Had on tap at Matanza Beer Kitchen in Albuquerque.

Beautiful and unusual light pink/purple color. No head. Faint sour berry aroma. Nice fruity, berry flavor with light to moderate tartness. This would be a nice hot weather refresher and is also good with food.
