Single hop IPAs can really highlight a varietal of god's perfect flower, but the wrong varietal can give you a simple pale worthy of little fanfare. I think this beer, while brewed well, doesn't get enough dimension from the single hop varietal.

The pour is a nice deep copper with a bleach white foam cap. Excellent clarity and carbonation.

The aroma is rather smooth and simple with just a slight citrus twist to it.

The taste is clean - a simple pale malt profile with attention meant to go to the hop. In this case, the hop gives a rather 1-dimensional bitterness and limit citrus flavoring. Since the hop is kind of boring, it would be a chance for a more interesting malt profile.

It's not a bad beer by any standard, but the hop just doesn't captivate.
