Pours a near amber color, 1/4" white head. Aroma of malt and lager yeast.
Taste was again malty, found it to be a little more bitter than style should be allowing here. Slightly caramel-esque, same with oxidized werthers candy. Smacks similar to Dead Guy. They say bocks have more bitterness, hoppiness, but I tend to notice the ones I like a little more, do not. Alcohol seemed to have a stinging quality on this one, but the carbonation was well placed at least. Overall I found it to be just one of those average bocks that leave me very ready to move on to another beer rather than waste any more time fledgling on this style that doesn't suit me too well anyways.
