You know when you're trying to change your bike tire and your tool hand is a little jittery from all the coffee you downed before the ride? Well, we wanted to brew a beer that made you feel like that so we teamed up with our buddies at Thump to create a beer that captures the flavor of that caffeinated perfection. But, you know...beer in a can.

Dark brown body; thick and creamy head. Fine aroma of mocha and caramel. Caramel and light brown sugar flavor and sweetness; bitter coffee notes. Medium-heavy body; slick and smooth with some heft; soft and velvety; fairly sweet feel throughout but with some strong dryness notes, too.
A righteous brown ale with a coffee backbone. Solid and tasty.

its so cool these guys are selling beer in colorado now, this is the first one i have seen, but im awfully glad its here. an insanely light brown ale, lightly english on the grain side to me, some chocolate malt there too, but its neat how much coffee is in this all things considered. like the body is really minimal, its almost amber in color, chestnut maybe, with a cool khaki airy head, lively from the pint can, and highly aromatic on the coffee, but light passes through easily and i smell more crystal malts than roasted ones, subtle caramel and brown sugar, but there isnt a lot of sweetness perceptible. coffee is high in the blend, maybe because the base brown is so delicate, but the roast and light smoke and dark chocolate jump out at me, coffee forever, warming even, fresh brewed and feeling all like the morning in the winter. for me coffee leads the flavor, i bet this brown would be a cool four season beer even without it, but the quality and uniqueness and boldness of the coffee are whats memorable here. smooth and light, i could rip several pints of this one, even though it has an obvious caffeine kick to it. great carbonation, even almost surprising. nutty, old worldy, well refined, nicely blended coffee element, just dialed. great beer from these guys, i could drink this every day forever and be thrilled. its lame that people dont consider brown ale session beer anymore, this one is built for crushing...
