Black pour, lower than average viscosity, tan head, 1" in depth. Roasted malt giving off coffee like burnt notes.
Taste kept imparting the coffee notes despite the sacrifice you usually get from a nitro stout on tap. It was easy enough to drink. Actually one of the better nitro beers out there, the use of oats further helps chill this one out and keep it from having any stinging bitterness or heat from the alcohol.
Its decent enough in taster size, I don't know that I'd want to have a full pour of it, nicer to smell, decent option in taster flights.

This is a rotating seasonal, available in spring as far as I am aware.
Black with dark tan head, lots of frothy nitro goodness ontop.
Dry, almost acidic bitterness, in the aroma. Sweet bittersweet chocolate.
Taste is smooth upfront due to the nitro, with a really rich coffee/cocoa flavor poking through. Malty oatmeal-ish flavors. Perhaps I cant really taste the oatmeal like in some O-stouts, probably more like my brain telling me theres oatmeal, therefore i taste oatmeal.
Overall a slow drinker, but a damn fine stout.
