Collaboration with SnoPlanks in Bend, Oregon. A “more sessionable” winter IPA perfect for crushing on the mountain. We constructed Sno’d In around a base of 2-row and Golden Promise malt with light carastan and rye malt providing depth. Comet, Chinook, Amarillo and Ekuanot hops create a balance of piney and citrusy hop flavor.

Look: Slightly opaque red-orange with a lofty off-white head that swells up and recedes to a pillow, leaving webs of lacing behind
Aroma: Cara cara oranges, fir needles, raspberries, pine, a little Cannabis, grapefruit, and freshly baked bread
Taste: Kicks off with a tasty blend of citrus fruits and conifer notes that get a chance to shine briefly on their own before joining into a nice conglomeration of both. Raspberries and Cannabis peek in from time to time and malt keeps it all together through the close
Mouthfeel: Full, medium-high carbonation, and a kiss of dryness on the finish
Overall: I dig it. This is a tasty beer although not a ton different from what a ‘standard’ WCIPA would be, except for the heavier malt bill reminiscent of old-school WCIPAs but who cares – it’s tasty. A nice conifer and citrus-heavy blend that I do think is perfect for a ‘winter’ IPA. It’s definitely worth a try if you see it
