Look: Pours a clear golden yellow with a luscious, pure white head that settles slowly to a pillow and leaves a coating of lacing behind on the glass’ rim
Aroma: Melon, papaya, passionfruit, powdered sugar coated strawberries, limes, floral notes, candied orange, and some bready malt
Taste: Melon and candied orange jump out front on the initial sip and quickly followed by waves of tropical fruit ad a strong lime presence. Strawberries join Hall’s honeysuckle, rock daphne, and Koreanspice viburnum in the middle before tropical fruit and melon rejoin the mix to close it out, along with a nice bite
Mouthfeel: Full, clean, medium-high carbonation, and lightly dry on the finish
Overall: This is some good stuff. This is a tasty, well-made, and unique IPA that brings a cool aroma/taste profile to the fold, while still staying a true WCIPA with a clean feel, hop bite, and lightly dry finish. I’d never seen nor heard of this specific beer before I spotted it but like what these folks do with this series so took a leap and it panned out. Tasty and recommended
