The appearance was a murky brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a decent pace. Slight lace. The aroma had some super sweet malts of the caramel, toffee and maple pummeling any sort of nuts or roastiness trying to come out. The flavor was the same, overly sweet through the previously mentioned aromas. Excessively sweet malty aftertaste and finish. The feel was exceptionally cloying with a body somewhere between light and medium. Sessionable? Well, if you like drinking maple sap water, sure. Overall, another mess by Bent Hill. No thanks. And this was the second bottle.
