Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a dark ruddy amber color with a fizzy white head that left no lacing. The aroma had dried floral to burnt piney hops flowing into burnt bready malts. The flavor takes those aromas and pretty much keeps it fairly bland. Burnt bready aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. Once again, a hard to take down beer by this brewer. Not exactly a good feel, excessive grip on my tongue through the bitterness. Overall, not sure why Bent Hill is still in this brewing game, their beers seem to get worse.

On tap, quite a bit of yeast in suspension, aroma and taste underwhelming, couldn't really get a feel of Jarrylo here. Some grassy notes.

Pours a cloudy amber with a light blonde hue into my glass. Big head of foam. I have never heard of Jarrylo hops.
A touch of tropical fruit in the nose. Some pineapple as well. Not as strong as I was hoping.
Not much underneath the hops. A solid pale ale base.
Finishes bitter but with not much else.
There's no way to tell how fresh this bottle is. I definitely want to explore jarrylo hops but wouldn't recommend this unless you could get it really fresh.
