A lush, crisp IPA made with an absurd amount of Citra, Centennial, Mosaic, and Wakatu hops.

Went through a four pack. This last one was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-thick bright copper/orange color. Soft finger's worth of white foamy head slid off pretty quick. Mild lace.
The aroma had a wonderful blend of sweet papaya, mangoes, orange pulp and a touch of pineapple. Light grassy hop spice, seemed perfect for balance.
The flavor mildly leans towards the sweetness of those previously mentioned tropical fruits. Then the hop spice stealthily lends a hand to provide an underlying balance that seemed necessary. Mild aftertaste of grassy hop spice and tropical fruits.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt nice and low as expected. ABV felt as projected. Finish was a bit sticky with a subtle grassiness about.
Overall, it's pretty nice New England styled IPA and makes me feel good to see the proceeds for this beer are for a great cause. Way to go, Bent Hill, you're getting "better every day!"

Really sweet which was surprising. Happy I was able to finally get some and this was a tribute to a friend of mine.

A:
Pours a hazy white gold with a couple fingers of really frothy off-white head that ends up as icebergs. Good retention; scummy lacing. (4.25)
S:
Wow! Juicy tropical fruit waves, guava, mango, orange, pineapple, sap, herbal spice. (4.25)
T:
Citrus pith, woodsy hops, light malt, peppery. (4)
M:
Medium body with active carbonation and a quick finish. (4)
O:
A really nice IPA.
The aroma is really something else (or was). The rest of it is solid as well. It looks nice enough with a decent head. The aroma is spectacular right on popping the tab but it is mellows out after a while. If it had stuck around I'd have said 4.5 on aroma. Loads of tropical fruity with some nice, but unexpected phenolic spice. The rest is solid as well. I'd definitely have it again. (4.25)

good looking brew, hazy straw color with some bright white head that decorates the glass. when cold it brings some nice bubblegum and sweet fruity citric notes, as it warms the gummy, grapefruit, and orange is still there - but also tasting this like abrasive soapy plastic note. not coming together nicely. while i enjoyed the first few sips, probably will not finish this pour.
