16 oz can from Vermont served in a tall 6L beer glass.
The use of real fruit (black currants) is evident in the reddish tint of the body and the pinkish-white head. The currants ate in the aroma too, but not as prominent as in the flavor. There's plenty of vanilla in the aroma yet it is not overdone in the flavor. Cinnamon is subtle throughout. This is moderately sour for the style and seems relatively low in acidity. The ABV is so well hidden that the 9.5% listed on the label seems like a misprint.
Nice accompanying an excellent Orchard pie [mixed fruit and rhubarb] from Tennessee.

Can to tulip.
The appearance was a fabulous looking dark purple color with a light pink cap of foamy head. It slid off stealthily to leave some concave lingered with little bubbles here and there.
The aroma had a very good blend of cinnamon sweetness and vanilla rolling into subtle notes of black and red currants. Not much sour character but some tart, sweet and a delicate spiciness.
The flavor copied pretty well from the aroma - all of the sweet and spicy hints of cinnamon, vanilla and those currants. Tart and sour tastes are pretty tame. Not much of any aftertaste, somewhat dry lingering powdery crayon but coming across somewhat nice (hmmmm...this sounds like an aftertaste to explore if I like crayon).
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fine sipping quality about it. Plenty of dryness does cause me to sip this one more than I might have wanted to. I could be wrong but I think this is Bent Hill's largest ABV-ed beer to date and it appears that the alcohol is pretty well hidden.
Overall, this might be one of my oddest sour ales to date, but somehow I gotta admit, it works and it works quite well! Well, there ya go - Bent Hill pushing those lines outside the box.

Drinking out of a stemless Teku glass.
Pours a somewhat hazy maroon with a moderate pink head.
Smells of sweet currents, somewhat mediciney
Thick chewy mouth feel.
Very sweet. Like fruit juice.
Currents, speech cinnamon.
