Strong pineapple flavor. Slightly sour. Nice lasting foamy head. Didn’t really catch the cinnamon flavor. Definitely worth a try.

Can to becher pint glass.
The appearance, well, I'm guessing it looks that way because of the Peruvian purple corn, but hey for what it's worth - I've never seen Peruvian purple corn. Nice looking head falling off in a fabulous way.
Super soft foamy head just slipping away as it does ever so nicely.
The aroma leads with the pineapple and some subtle cinnamon spicy tones coming in underneath. Slight corn sweetness even further underneath.
The flavor leaned towards a semi-sticky sweet corn character with some pineapple and a slighter edge of cinnamon. Aftertaste of sweet corn and pineapple, barely any cinnamon.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied but sat just a touch under with a very nice sessionability like a cream ale should. Good carbonation and some sticky pineapple tones - not cloying. Lurches forward with a kind semi-smooth finish with pineapple creamy sweetness.
Overall, I have to admit, I like it for me but true fans of the original style might think the brewer is off his rocker. However, trust me, he's not. Mike just likes to think outside the box way more than a lot of people.
