The pour went well. At room temperature the contents of a pint can were easily emptied into a clear Imperial pint glass. There's no billowing starchy white foam here. There is a just slightly off-white modest head that seems enduring. The beer itself is a dull and opaque blond-amber. A good combination of starch and piney/resinous hops greets the nose. It's nicely drinkable, with a body that is adequate, and a very good hop delivery. Only a little light in the mouthfeel, the wonderful hopping in the taste makes this a winner. This isn't too bitter, nor astringent, but it is hoppy. There's no sweetness to taste to distract from the hops, which are complex enough and finish cleanly. This is absolutely a must try brew.
