May be the best fresh hop I've ever had. I'd like to do a side-by-side with Cowiche Canyon from Fremont. The citra hop profile makes this one sing of citrus notes throughout with a nice sweet malt backing. Nice dry and crisp finish.

Look: Crystal clear, lighter amber body. The body has a very clean appearance, practically no bubble rise. Immediate reaction to the pour, the head is spontaneous, foamy and lumpy. Thick, sticky strands of legging decorate one side of the glass.
Smell: Muted citrus with melon and some pine. Sweet saltine crackers.
Taste: Muted citrus, melon, and pine. Sweet saltine crackers and mushy hops.
Feel: Medium carbonation. Light body, but not too light. Medium crispness.

Overall - Not bad for an APA, but there are others I would grab before this. I am glad to have had the opportunity to try this beer from a brewery i have never tried.

A legitimate multi-finger white foamy cap sits atop a surprisingly (why surprising? dunno. just is) crisp clear light amber body and refuses to yield much room to the air around. If the glass is indeed half full, it's because the head is maintaining it perch and not because anything is half empty.

Nose has elements of fresh hop vibrancy, but also a not insignificant earthy strain that amplifies the beers maltier side, bringing it more to the forefront than I would personally prefer, esecially in a fresh hop ale.

Flavour brings forth a little bit more of the fresh and free I was hoping for, but that wild eyed spirit is still tethered by that same earthy/malty authority asserting itself. Comes in to finish with a pleasantly bitter resinous finish lightly dotted by sweet patches pecking at the veneer.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a two finger light ivory head with good retention, lots of lacing and active carbonation. Aroma of bready, lightly caramel malt, citrus hops and an odd saison yeast component. Flavor is a rich malt with bready, caramel and biscuit well balanced, citrus hops, lemon, hints of ripe tropical fruit. Finishes with biscuit malt and lingering lemon citrus bitterness. Medium bodied with light creaminess. A very nice, balanced pale ale with robust citra hopping. The malt is much more interesting than many pale ales, giving a light British feel to this ale, almost like a hybrid between a good ESB and a well hopped American pale ale. The combination is great. I really liked this a lot. I liked all three of the wet hops this year from this brewery and this one the best.

Big foam on the golden brew in the chalice. Sudsy and lush on the tongue. Fragrant and herbal with a distinct citrus aroma. Clean and light bodied with a touch of Cheerios flavor and the lovely hop notes.

Grapefruit flavor without the pithy bitterness. Just a little sharp but mellow malt to the rescue. This is one of the best fresh hop brews I've had this year. Flavorful and aromatic. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Chuck's 85th St Market.

What a great fresh hop. Pours a clear amber color with the good head. Aroma is citrus, with a hint of pine. Taste is great a slight lemon bitterness that ends with a clean finish. The medium body on this beer really lets the citra showcase themselves. This is a must have for any wet hop fans.

Thick, billowy head atop a clear, golden amber brew. Sheet lacing. Medium body. The aroma is orange, lemon, fruit, and malt. Herbal and grass notes. The flavor is hop forward. Grapefruit and some pine and grass. Resinous mouthfeel with a lingering hops tanginess. A very good beer overall.
