Crisp clear copper/amber body with a MASSIVE silky off white head that just won't quit.
I literally had to close my window to make sure I was smelling the beer and that there wasn't someone smoking a joint right outside my window. This is the most marijuana-esque beer I have ever smelled. Dank dank dank dank. Wow. Umm... beyond that? Maybe some spicy hops. But for real I can't get past how much this smells like a fresh bag of super fresh weed. Jesus. Anyway.
Flavour does very little to dispel the impression from the nose. Not as dominant or one note, but certainly still there. Sweet caramel and that signature juiciness of fresh hops. Finishes a bit earthy.
Creamy an smoothe and easy to drink, I'm enjoying this one a fair degree more than I expected.

This beer looks amazing. Orange/amber, mostly clear, with a bit of sediment at the bottom of the glass. Solid, foamy, orange-cream head with substantial lacing. The aroma is faint citrus, a bit of fruit, some grass and herbs, yeast, and caramel malt. A bit of honey as well. The flavor is floral, fruit, and citrus with some caramel malt in the finish to smooth things out. A bit thin and watery in the mouthfeel, but a nice, clean finish and aftertaste. A decent beer overall & worth checking out for fun!

Wet earth/composting leaves mixed with overripe honeydew. No mistake that this is a wet hop beer.

Attractive clear golden amber brew with plenty of coarse foam in the Kasteel chalice. Light resiny tang that carries into the aroma.
Fruity, honeydew melon taste. Quite moderate bitterness. Another above average single-hop brew from Three Magnets. From the 22 oz bottle purchased from Haggens Market in Burlington.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a one finger white head with good retention and lots of lacing. Aroma of ripe mango and papaya, light lemon citrus, bready malt; a little earthy. Flavor follows with an emphasis on ripe tropical fruit, lemon and tangerine citrus, a hint of pine, bready and mildly caramel malt. Finishes with fruit forward tropical and citrus hops and nice earthy residual malt. Interesting light lingering estery flavor after finish. Pleasant creamy medium mouth feel. This second of Three Magnets' wet hopped ales seems to have more depth to the malt, more similar to an IPA than a pale ale, but that may be due to the rich fruit flavors from the Mosaic hops. I see why this hop is a good one from blending because of its complexity, but I still enjoyed this as a single hop flavor. Not as much alpha bitterness as the the El Dorado and Amarillo ale, but more complex fruit flavors. An enjoyable pale ale with good fruit complexity.
