Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with copper tint and a half finger white head that dissipates to patches with light lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, tropical fruit, rye, piney and dank hops. Flavor is mild caramel malt, piney, grassy and dank hops, mixed tropical fruit and melon, spicy rye with a slight rye tartness and earthiness. Medium bodied with peppery carbonation. A really nicely made rye IPA with the rye element in harmony with the hops and a mildly caramel malt body that quietly supports the other flavors. ABV very well covered. Very flavorful example of one of my favorite styles. Hope this becomes a regular in rotation for them. Three Magnets is knocking IPAs out of the park IMHO.

The brewer calls this a "double rye india pale ale." Attractive amber brew with a slight haze and plenty of foam in the Brasserie Dupont chalice. Funky and fruity aroma with some gardenia. Melon, blackberries, and grain taste. Malty and warm, but with a sharp sense on the tongue. Sudsy mouthfeel and actually fairly light bodied.

Delicious fruity melange with a woodsy, dark note. The rye doesn't call attention to itself but there is a pleasant resiny, spicy flavor. I would not have guessed this was over nine percent. It's just so well balanced and smooth. Totally sippable and one of the better DIPAs I've had this year or last. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Ale Spike in Stanwood.
