Amber, cloudy but not turbid Nice creamy white head. Good beer all-around and well-made lager. Needed more malt to make it a true maibock and for mouthfeel.

Rich and malty in the classic Maibock style. Color is a beautiful golden yellow with a nice pile of foam in the Maredsous goblet. Tangy but has that slightly sticky sweet bock taste. Wheaty and cereal tasting, warm and clean, not quite caramel but a nice sugary edge. Lovely sudsy mouthfeel. Aroma of yeast and sugar cookies.

This stuff is so sweet and drinkable it evaporates on the tongue and you're just reaching for that glass. Good thing it's not even stronger. One of the better versions of a very likeable style. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Elizabeth Station in Bellingham, Wash.

Poured into a Celebrator pokal. Pours a medium coppery amber with a one finger white head with great retention and lots of lacing. Aroma of biscuit malt with a mild breadiness, grassy noble hops. Flavor is semi-sweet biscuit malt, lightly grainy, classic noble hops like the aroma. Finishes with drier crackery malt and moderate grassy hops that linger after the taste. Perhaps a bit hoppier than traditional, but very close to style. The malt is quite nice and a nice change from the pale ales and ipas I've been drinking. A well done domestic version of this style that is not seen that often.
