Citrus and the rare taste of Pacific NW sunshine are the inspiration for this stormy (hazy) beer. Washington 2-Row, NW White Wheat and Flaked Oats compose the malt bill, but its the hops that give this beer it's namesake - Citra, Chinook and Centennial, which combine to create a sip of soft fizzy sunshine.

Hazy gold with two fingers of fluffy white head that display great retention
Smells of bright citrus and some pine. A bit of tangerine
Orange and lemon on the sip, nice pine presence. Malt is supportive, but not the star of the show.
Not overly sweet, relatively smooth and crisp.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a very hazy, medium golden amber with a two finger white head with good retention and lots of lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus hops, lemon and orange family citrus, light tropical fruit, nice and estery. Flavor follows, with pale malt, citrus hops, tangerine, orange, lemon and grapefruit as well as hints of passionfruit and guava. Finishes with estery lemon and passion fruit bitterness. Refreshing as advertised. Light to medium bodied with a hint of creaminess. A flavorful hazy IPA with lots of fruit forward herbal hop flavors. The malt is nearly neutral in flavor, but adds a light sweetness to the middle and finish which support the robust fruit forward bitterness. This is quite refreshing.
