Bit if unique flavor, but still good.

This is the more recent, canned second edition of this IPA. Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a quite hazy golden amber with a half finger white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of mildly caramel malt, citrus and tropical fruit hops, orange and grapefruit citrus, guava and a hint of pineapple. Flavor is pale malt, citrus hops, lemon, tangerine and grapefruit citrus, non identifiable light tropical fruit, all rather mellow; finishes with tangerine and grapefruit rind bitterness and residual light mixed fruit with some peppermint and a faint estery quality. Medium bodied with nice light creaminess, nice mouth feel. An odd entry into the hazy, fruit IPA realm, with fairly subdued fruit flavors at first but the fruit becomes more robust into a hoppy bitter finish with interesting light mixed fruit with no flavors really dominating. The start of this is possibly a bit too low key, but the finish redeems it, leaving the mixed fruit flavor that are hard to tease apart, but complex enough to be interesting. I really liked the looks and finish on this one.
