Three Magnets Brewing

From a growler picked up at Pint Defiance, into a shaker. Pours a slightly hazy dull pineapple gold, with one finger white head, decent retention and lacing. Strange nose...kind of funked up and almost gassy orange peel and slightly overripe juicy orange-mango notes. A little catty Citra stuff there too, that I rarely encounter anymore, so it's kind of a throwback, and not at all unwelcome. Taste is a little more centered on the juice notes, though not at all sweet with a little gentle bitterness that hovers on the edge, and finishes dry. Body is middling to light and carb is mid to low. Very enjoyable, with fully developed flavors. It doesn't quite rise to the level of Odell's or Boneyard's pales, both of which are fresh on my palate, but it is still a winner and I'd be happy to have regular access to it...tasty and refreshing.
