Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a hazy, light yellow amber with a three finger white head that dissipates to a thick cap with good lacing. Aroma of lightly caramel malt, dank, citrus and tropical fruit hops, orange, grapefruit and faint mixed tropical fruit. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and faint tropical fruit hops, orange, grapefruit and mild pineapple, pear and mixed tropical fruit. Flavor drops off into a moderately hoppy finish with attenuated fruit. Medium bodied with light creaminess. Has all the characteristics of NE style IPA, with everything dialed back a notch. Nice hop bill with citrus and tropical fruit and a little pear, which is a pleasant uncommon hop flavor. However, a little mild in flavor and bitterness even for the style. I liked the flavor, but a bit too tame for my taste. The color is even quite mellow, with more milkiness than golden tones. A good hazy, but an odd IPA to choose this name for, does not really shake, rattle and roll.
