Was surprised to find this at a supermarket in California.
Pours a substantial hazy. Yellow, thick, equal parts beer and gravy appearance. Poor head formation and retention, settles into one of those 1/12" films. The aroma was nice, plenty of Citra and Amarillo alternating that orange, tangerine, lemongrass nose.
Taste is nice, the Simcoe really works/counterbalances the hazy oat body, but you're still left with plenty of tangerine, orange, mango, lemongrass, alfalfa like greenness to the entire taste and mouth feel. This swung around nicely, from a meh appearance, to excelling at every aspect of the pale ale game from there. A bit similar to New Glory's Gummy Worms from out this way, it has that chewier pale ale amalgamation of barley, oats, wheat etc that make for a good base for the hops to dance on top of. Carbonation was fine even if it looked lower. I'd recommend, Three Magnets does good stuff, can't think of anything I'd advise you to stay away from with them.

Quite hazy yellowish color with plenty of foam. Tangy with a spritzy mouthfeel. Grainy, cereal taste and spicy like rye-- this is an interesting and complex brew. Bitter citrus peel aftertaste. A little orange and pineapple flavor. Herbal green hop taste. Sharp finish. This is thoroughly interesting and seems different every time I try it. From the four-pack of 16 oz cans.

Murky pale orange body. Minimal head.
Nose has a ton of oat in it. Like a ton. I like that as I like oats. Digging further reveals sweet citrus and a little bit of mango and pineapple.
Smoothe citrus hops. A nice bitter drive. But it's still got that weird shadow-of-hops that I get with a lot of the murk bombs and am not really a fan of. Not as bad as some of the midwest heavy hitters I've had, and at least there's still some IPA bitterness in there somewhere, but eh I don't know.
Really smoothe and thick and chewy. Just what I want from oatmeal additions.
Solid offering. Love the oatmeal incorporation. The rest is ok.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a very hazy caramel yellow with a thin white head that dissipates to patches with light lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and tropical hops, orange, mango and pineapple. Flavor is neutral malt, citrus hops, grapefruit, orange, vague tropical fruit. Finishes with almost resinous hop bitterness. Medium bodied with light creaminess. A robustly hopped pale ale, sort of a cross between a NE IPA and a hoppy pale ale. The hop flavors were not as interesting as the aroma, with less tropical notes, but nice citrus. A little body from the oatmeal. An interesting hybrid pale ale, but not to my taste; too little malt for the heavy duty hops for my palate.

Smoother than expected. Subtle in flavor.
