First things first, this beer poured a beautiful golden hue like Candice Swanepoel sunning herself on the beach in Turks and Caicos. So yeah, we’re kind of off to a nice start. Aroma was well and good - vibrant tropical fruits like a holiday in Cambodia. So let’s stop there. Beer looks good, beer smells good, so does beer... Nope. Unfortunately not. Taste is simply aite. Then it falls flatter than your prom date who stuffed herself.

Pass.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a very hazy, medium golden amber with a one finger white head with great retention and lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and tropical fruit hops, lemon, pineapple, mango and grapefruit. Flavor is pale malt, citrus hops, lemon, orange, pineapple, mango and mixed tropical fruit, hints of stone fruit. Mildly bitter, fruity finish with nice fruit ester notes. Medium bodied with light creaminess. Well they fooled me on this one. I'm not buying hazy IPA much any more because I only seem to enjoy a small percentage of them and I'm not a fan of low bitterness in IPAs. This one hit the shelves as a fresh hop IPA and it wasn't until I poured it that its true nature was revealed. Fortunately, it's one of the hazies that I liked, although the bitterness is a little too attenuated for me. I'm a fan of fruit esters in fruit forward beers and this one delivers in the finish. I guess the tasting went swimmingly.
