Another exceptional brew from Washington’s best brewery, this DIPA is excellent. Perfect pairing of dank, piney hops blending in with waffle graham crackers. Sweet and honey dew juicy, musky bitter, spicy, murky, milky thick and flavorful, a fast sipper. These are high priced, a 6er would be gone too fast, so I slow down and savor every drop,

Pours a rich golden with almost orange hues around the edges. Slightly hazy with a thick solid white head. Great retention and decent lacing as it slowly recedes.
Smell is strongly of honey and peach. There is a light tart pineapple like note as well as swirling vague hints of citrus and bitter herbs.
Taste is soft and smooth, like a bowl of melon and berries drizzled with honey. Some almost grapey notes that remind me of very fruity red wine. The honey in the nose and now flavor is so strong in this one I'm almost skeptical of the lack of it on the label. Stronger sense of honey on the tongue than any batch of Hopslam I've had. I'm assuming it's from the malt bill and there is very little else of malt that I detect.
Mouthfeel is excellent big and soft and pillowy and full. You know you're drinking a dipa but you aren't buried in a syrupy mess.
Overall this is another win for me from 3 magnets. Reminiscent of hopslam in all the right ways plus going beyond with the berry and melon notes from the hops. Thank god I',m too broke to drink these all day because it would be way to easy, the 8.6% slides by undetected

Interestingly, given the ratings so far, I like the pig better than the unicorn. I have no hesitation at all giving it 4.25’s across the board. It’s a very pretty beer, golden pale apricot with a nice persistent head and some elegant little lacing. The aroma is sweet and enticing, with a robust surge of fruity hops. Taste is equally well balanced with a hop profile that I find absolutely delicious - I’m moving the taste up to 4.5, it really deserves it. Finally the feel pulls it all together with a lovely soft, smooth texture. The IPA world is so incredibly varied these days you just have to go with what appeals to you most, and this is one of the best I’ve had in some time. Also, the REDACTED hops are extremely appropriate for the current news cycle!

Faintly hazy honey-amber body; thick and creamy white head. Strong malt aroma with a minor dull pine and citrus component. Excellent balanced flavors of simple malt base and pine resin; nice, well-rounded bitterness. Medium-heavy body; some dull residual sugar heft yet overall dry and crisp; some alcohol heat and warmth.
A pretty solid IPA, not to extreme and certainly not dull and uninspiring. Appealing in nearly every category with a nice alcohol edge to things.
