Poured into a Gulden Draak tulip. Pours a lightly hazy, medium golden amber with a one finger white head with great retention and light lacing. Aroma of grainy malt with a little biscuit, apple, orange citrus, clove. Flavor is grainy, almost saison yeast, lemon citrus, Belgian yeast, citrus hops and clove. Nice lingering orange and lemon finish. Medium bodied with light creaminess and sharp carbonation. A very nice take on the Belgian pale ale style with pleasant American tasting citrus hops. The Belgian yeast tastes authentic. Starts with a little saison influence, and finishes with a little bit of fruit esters and moderate, but flavorful citrus hops. Not had many Belgians from Three Magnets, but this is a nice one.
