L:. Pours a slightly hazy straw yellow with a creamy white head and lacing all around the glass.
S:. Toasted grain, baked bread, some honey, some sweet apple, a bit of floral hop.
T:. Toasted grain, baked bread, some sweet malt and honey, a bit of sweet apple. Before it warmed up, it had a very strong skunky hop, bit after warming up a bit it loses some of that, tastes better as it gets a tad warm.
F:. Medium body, fairly crisp.
O:. Fairly solid beer, like it better a bit warmer than just out of the fridge.

Poured in to a glass it had a creamy thick head, which lasted several minutes and left nice lacing on the glass. Clear at the bottom of the glass but otherwise with swirling haziness.
Aroma had citrus, mild hops and slight hint of grass.
Flavor was hard to describe. There was a nice earthy/Woody flavor, not as strong as oak, which dominated with a mild maltiness as well. Fairly crisp and just a hint of bitterness.
Overall a good beer. I have one more pint in the fridge that I will enjoy, but not one I would hunt down.

Clear, golden body; nice carbonation; thick, creamy, white head; sheets of foam coat the inside of the glass. Strong herbal aroma; freshly cut grass; mild fruitiness. Light cereal grain base carrying a strong bitterness and herbal quality; cracker; earthy spiciness; pungent. Medium body; warm and prickly on the palate; fairly dry with a slight oiliness.
This is a very solid kolsch. It has great eye-appeal and a spot-on representation of the kolsch smell and taste profile (as far as the BA style description goes).
