another fine can of beer from these guys, i look forward to seeking and finding them when in washington, and this time i have dabbled in a few more of the hoppy ones. this is a little rugged and raw, but its nice, even being canned a couple of months ago now. hazy for sure, a little thick looking, peach juice colored, nice head when i first pour it but then settling down. aromas of bursting ripe stone fruit, even fallen peaches starting to rot on the ground (in a good way of course, the epitome of just overripe), some white grape and juice kiwi fruit. the flavor is curiously tart in that it doesnt seem to be either infected in any traditional way or fermentation derived, but there is a tartness to this like a fresh passion fruit and papaya, the same way their 3mag rain had in my experience, juicy and dry hopped to high heaven, but truly weird at the same time, not like what others are doing with this, like orange tang, and it cant all be from hops, can it? a little more sweetness than i need at the end, but a solid beer, especially as dated as the can says it is, its not tired or fading at all to me. they have a great, or several great yeast strains in house, and they know how to use them, seems like these guys can do it all, and they have solidly become one of my favorite, and most anticipated breweries. didnt bust over this, but its nice and it shows they arent content to be samey!

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned on 8/27/19, so pretty fresh. Listed as a hazy IPA with cryo mosaic, and double dry-hopped with azacca and motueka. I am looking forward to this.
Appearance: pale orange hue with a thick-ass haze and a full finger of frothy ivory foam. Really, what a hazy IPA should be.
Smell: good lord! Dank indeed! Earthy, dank, and even onion-ey. This beer is grim! I can't tell if I like it or if I hate it -- which is usually a good sign. Points for intensity!
Taste: dank, kinda fruity, and onioney. This beer is ludicrous. There are people to whom it might indeed appeal -- and I, frankly, might be one of them.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a solid carbonation and good creaminess.
Overall: I feel like this beer is not my jam at all, and yet I so rarely come across a beer that is a true novelty. It may not be my favorite, but it's absolutely worth trying.
