16 oz can from LIfesource Natural Grocer in Salem OR
$3.99
LIke the label..poor ole Beemer
Pours a slightly hazy hazelnut brown body, with a light tan head,
Woah real nice medium roast coffee aromas....some chocolate also.. Very nice.
Taste has the coffee but not as much as the aroma..got some sour fruitiness going on also..kinds distracts from the coffee.
Mouth feel is pretty average ..nothing out of the ordinary.
Not my thing. Loved the aroma but failed to deliver..for a real good coffee lager see Luna Jo from Deschutes

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. This is a "dark lager brewed with coffee".
Appearance: rich brown hue with a light haze; head is a thin layer of frothy dark-ivory foam. I like it.
Smell: a light, sweet malt with a great big dose of coffee. It basically smells like an iced coffee. If you like iced coffee, you will like this; personally I think it's not bad, but the beer itself doesn't have much opportunity to shine through.
Taste: kind of a nice, nut-brown type character at the base, with a generally light, dry aspect. The coffee is a bit of a bludgeon here; though it's tasty enough, I think the the coffee might be pared back a bit to good effect.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a rather big carbonation and a surprisingly good creaminess. For a dry-ish, low-ABV beer like this, it's unexpected; I dig it!
Overall: this is a pretty good brown ale at the base, and while the coffee is interesting, I don't feel like it necessarily improves the beer.

a delicious dark lager done with coffee, earthy and balanced, robustly flavored but extremely drinkable, very well made, i really like the lager base with the coffee, as opposed to a brown ale or porter or something. the color is a slightly reddish deep muddy brown, with a small head from the tap at the brewery that fades fast. they were using plastic cups because of the pandemic through, so i wont hold it against them. it smells like freshly roasted but not yet brewed beans, a dry cocoa and subtle raisin note to it, and some brown sugar character in the malt coming through, no real sign of the lager yeast. the flavor is coffee driven but there is a lot here from the grain too, a baked warmth to it makes it a very nice beer for a chilly fall evening, and it feels kind of rich and hearty even at this very low alcohol content, which i also dig. fig, toffee, and light smoke in the coffee, nothing too bitter or dark here, and again, pretty minimal from the lager yeast, not real european to me in that way, but the beer is not lacking in complexity even still. maybe a little light in carbonation for me, but the texture works to sort of slow it down and let the flavors evolve on the palate. tasty stuff, quality coffee in the mix here, and a really enjoyable pint overall.
