Late 2024 batch. Labeled as a hazy ipa. More of a cloudy ipa than hazy. Golden color. White head with lace.
Reminds me of UA west coast ipa with its slightly sweetness. Very tropical, fruity. Mango, orange, papaya, melon. Kind of hoppy as well, I just get a sugary sweetness out of this. Minimal bitterness. Still, a very fine NA and packs way more flavor than athletic and many of the other IPAs.
Good body as well. Not thin like most of them.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug; purchased at the brewery. Can says this is a "Flagship Hazy IPA" with Citra, Mosaic and Azacca hops.
Appearance: medium golden-yellow hue with a moderate haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop. Pretty, though a little more haze would not be unwelcome.
Smell: earthy hop character with a little bit of fruitiness and a little bit of dankness. There's also a bit of a vegetal quality to the hops; not the best in the world but not bad for NA.
Taste: very citrusy and slightly vegetal hops, combined with a light but rather bready malt character. Again, it's not too bad for NA, but I am not getting much of a "hazy IPA" vibe here.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a decent enough carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I don't like this particular beer as much as others I've tried in the Self Care series. Miles beyond traditional NA beers, of course, but perhaps not quite up there with the best of the modern ones.
